Once the cockpit was setup with the wheel base and pedals attached, it was an amazing experience. The seat is super comfortable and the use of the caster wheels makes it easy to move around the room for storage and play. One recommendation would be for a video on how to put the rig together with all the appropriate nuts and bolts as I had to rely on poor YouTube videos and emails to GT Omega. The instructions online were ok but not detailed enough.

The description says they are compatible with the classic wheel stand & seat frame. They fit in my seat frame but the hole threads on my wheel stand are a smaller diameter so wouldn't fit.

Adding castors to my ART cockpit was the most sensible thing I could have done. Well worth the asking price, solid and very functional wheels. Makes moving the thing a lot easier. If you are ever likely to have to move your rig, buy these wheels. I bought them afterwards after moving it without, which was hard work. Get them straight away. They lock firmly and roll smoothly. Recommended add-on.

What a difference. No more lift/drag the Wheel stand into place before and after use. One slight issue was the wheels did tend to slide during heavy braking moments, but adding castor trays stopped that.
Definitely a worthwhile addition to the wheel stand.

Originally purchased the GT Omega art cockpit without the castors . Then came the RS6 seat , monitor stand , mat and finally castors to allow me to move the rig for adjusting things and cleaning etc. The castors are like the rest of my GT Omega stuff , well built and great price ! It's surprising how much easier it is to get in and out of with the height added by the castors . I've stuck with GT Omega simply because I have received good service , well built hardware and pricing that means value for money ! Should I ever decide to upgrade to a profile rig it will definitely be from this company

Absolute life saver if you need to store your cockpit in a cupboard after use (like I do). My ART cockpit, once separated in to two sections, is very easy to manoeuvre with these. Very quick to lock/unlock. Glad that I bought them.

The wheels are seriously high quality, solid and stable. When locked the cockpit setup is solid and stays put. When unlocked it makes it so easy to swivel the cockpit around. Purchased caster wheels for ART cockpit - great addition which makes moving the set up out of the way when not in use a breeze.
Also, I used the ‘remind me when back in stock’ function on the GT Omega website which worked a treat. Luckily the wheels came back into stock a week or so after I set the reminder so I purchased them right away and they arrived a couple of days later. Can’t fault the service from these guys - excellent as always.

No instructions came with the wheels. So I never new a washer needs to be placed hear. Threads are gone and it also wont come out and now have to buy the whole new frame.

The caster upgrade has meant I am able to move my rig right up to my screen and also move it away to free up the room. The casters work well on carpet and so far have not damaged the carpet in anyway. Depending on the size of the rig occupant and wheel strength i would consider locking the casters when it is in the right position as the slight sway in the wheel can slowly move the rig.

I have bought this set before ( castors ) but there came loose & striped the the bolt holes in my Seat frame. You need to use Treadlock or Lock Washers with these Castors . Now i have to find a way of fixing them in the loose holes or buy a new Seat Base you understand.

It's nice to no longer have to pick up my frame to move it around, and the wheels roll great on carpet and hardwood floors.
A few things to keep in mind are that the casters will add height to the frame (~1.5-2 inches), which affects whatever seating arrangement you had if buying these for just a seat and/or wheel stand. Also, the locks work well, but the wheels still slide a bit under heavy braking (using these on a wheel stand with Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals). You will likely need a better way to secure or wedge the wheels to keep the frame from wanting to slide, which I fully expected.
Hopefully things come back in stock soon to where I can use this on a full rig (kit comes with 8 casters for a full rig), but I trust the casters will work well to slide a heavy rig around.

Adding the caster wheels has been a blessing as I have change rooms from time to time and the ease of movablity is a plus rig feels light in transition from room to room. Easy to fit onto my GT Omega classic rig, casters come with a locking mechanism, I would recommend purchasing a set.

I bought the GT Omega wheel stand on its own last year and since watching sim racing channels on YouTube I wanted a more bespoke SIM racing set up than trying to make it work in front of my cramped computer desk and TV on the wall set up . GT Omega purchased racing rigs and accessories are in use with some of the sum racing community so I thought I would try them out, plus they are a British company so it's nice to support them being a Brit myself.
I nearly bought the ART cockpit until I stumbled across the CLASSIC rear seat frame add-on the website. Unfortunately, everything I wanted was out of stock so had to wait.
I bought the caster wheels, the classic rear seat frame and the XL RS SIM seat.
All came well packaged and quickly too. Everything is strong and well made and easy to assemble.
Had some building work going on in our house so have only just gotten around to trying the rig out.
The caster wheels make the entire rig so easy to move and they can be easily locked off when your sat in the rig
Also bought a single monitor TV stand to mount a 49 inch Samsung curved 4K TV...makes racing much more immersive and is very affordable.
